A Journey That Gives Back

In 2006, I traveled to South Africa to volunteer at an HIV/AIDS Clinic. I had no idea it would change the entire direction of my life.

I fell in love with the people, their resilience, the sense of community, and  most importantly I learned that we all have the power to make a difference in the life of someone in need . That trip is what led me to found The Gift of Hope USA — and twenty years later, thanks to so many of you, we're still showing up for women and children in South Africa affected by HIV.

That same summer, I picked up my camera and went on my first safari. I didn't know it then, but that country gave me two lifelong loves at once: this work, and my love of travel, safari and photography. The two have been linked together ever since.

So I'm especially excited to share something new: I've partnered with World of ORYX, a private travel company known for exceptional, thoughtfully designed journeys across Africa, India, Antarctica and beyond.
